This classically inspired residence provided a blank canvas for colour, texture and a more expressive decorative language. Seeking to energise the home while enhancing its inherent grandeur, the client embraced a maximalist approach, balancing youthful opulence with cohesion and warmth.

Drawing on the theatricality of Hollywood Regency and the refined ornamentation of the French Château, the concept, coined ‘Hollywood Chateau’, layers saturated colour, rich textures and meticulous detailing.

Materiality played a defining role, with Verde marble and high-gloss black introduced to the formal sitting room, while brass mesh and deep green tones create a moody, sophisticated office. New furniture was layered with the client’s existing pieces, with selected items reupholstered in vibrant, playful fabrics to give them renewed life.

The result is an adventurous yet considered interior, where classical references meet contemporary expression and personal character. There is a renewed sense of energy, personality and joy throughout the home.
